About Us

Wines that tell a story, since 1952

Our story begins in 1952, when Mario Paset founded the Valvarse winery in Valdobbiadene, at the heart of the first Glera vineyards.

In 1999, his son Sergio brought new energy, and the company expanded towards the foothills. Today, Valvarse, led by the new generation, combines tradition and innovation, maintaining the authentic identity that has accompanied us since 1952.

Our Territory: Heart of Prosecco DOCG Conegliano-Valdobbiadene In the UNESCO World Heritage hills of Valdobbiadene, Glera vineyards thrive on terraced slopes with ideal exposure and significant temperature variations, which give freshness and structure. The calcareous soil and unique microclimate produce fragrant and elegant wines, distinctive traits of the denomination. From manual pruning to hand-picking the best clusters, with sustainable techniques, we guarantee bottles that encapsulate the essence of the territory: floral and fruity notes combined with a vibrant freshness, typical of Prosecco DOCG Valdobbiadene.

Valvarse Philosophy: Tradition and Innovation
Our goal is to enhance the vocation of the territory without betraying its soul: a quality wine is born from the harmony between man and nature. This is why we adopt sustainable practices, reduce chemical products, and use renewable energy. Every production phase is overseen by Sergio and his team, respecting Mario’s traditions while being open to innovations.

Our range extends from Charmat method sparkling wines to more immediate fizzy ones, up to crus from historic vineyards facing southeast, which give unique complexity. In every bottle, we tell the story of the hard work in the vineyard and the beauty of the hills that inspire us.

Our Mission and the Future
We look ahead with the same passion as Mario: improving every day without betraying family and territorial values. Among our projects are new vineyards in suitable areas, wood vinification for selected crus, and organic practices on part of the vineyards.

We want to offer an authentic experience: visits among the rows, tastings in the panoramic cellar, and sharing the beauty of the UNESCO hills of Valdobbiadene, where our family continues the excellence of Prosecco DOCG.
